In response to the pandemic we have made several changes to the way we serve ice cream to our customers. Wherever possible, we have minimised the need for physical contact, in order to reduce the spread of the virus .
Changes we have made include:

PLEXIGLASS
We’ve fitted plexiglass screens to the serving hatches of our ice cream vans.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
We practice and promote social distancing and event specific measures are put in place as appropriate.
PPE
We use PPE including disposable gloves and face masks and we continue to wash our hands frequently.
GOOD HYGIENE
We have extremely high standards of hygiene and we continue to practice this. We regularly disinfect contact surfaces within our ice cream vans. This includes everything from the handbrake, to the chiller handles,. We continue to practice good personal hygiene.
SERVING ICE CREAM
We have fitted dispensing units in our ice cream vans to dispense cone sleeves and tubs, reducing physical contact with the product and customer. Cones are served in a paper sleeve or napkin. Flakes are handled with tongs.
Please don’t be offended but regretfully we are not able to accommodate guest requests to come in the van to serve/take photos. For the safety of our customers and staff, we will not allow anyone in the van, except for our drivers. We hope you understand!
CONTACTLESS PAYMENTS
We promote the use of contactless payment wherever possible.
